Bulldozer (Hard to love #3) - P. Dangelico

I loved this book so much more than the previous one (Sledgehammer)! Whatever hang ups I had in the previous standalone was done right in this. This story had so much of reality, emotions, SWOON and I loved the characters! I usually don't prefer to read single dad/mom romances and that's probably the reason I haven't tried this book till now but I'm so glad I finally picked it up! It's about a football player who's recovering from a spinal injury. He's your teddy bear hiding under the front of a rude jerk. You know the type, cold on the outside but only warm and fuzzies on the inside. So ya where was I...ya he's the hotshot player wanting to lick his wounds in private....when in comes strolling our female lead, Amanda Shaw, sister to one of his friends from football. Amanda Shaw is a single mom who made some bad choices in life but has worked her way through it and become a wonderful human and mother to her ten year old child. The moment they meet sparks do not fly! God I loved the hate- love that went on here. They cozied up to each other with time and wow this book gave me the flippy feels in my tummy more times than I can count! These two have really good 'love chemistry' , but a little lower on the 'lust chemistry'. A lot of books make you feel the angst and sexual tension, this book wasn't like that, the lust took a back seat to make space for all that loving tender moments. The grammar went a little sideways at times making you re- read a few sentences to understand what it means. But nothing major at all. Pick this up if you're looking for a good romance with broken characters that are positively healing and growing together, swoony moments, a teddy bear hero and a widely relatable and lovely heroine. ( I guess you could call this a second chance romance?)
