Managed - Kristen Callihan

I've got one word for you: Amazing

Gabriel is the manager of a leading band. Sophie works as a social media manager. They meet on a flight to London. (Thier first meet was so damn hilarious and good!) Some choice words are exchanged. And I don't want to reveal too much so I'm just going to go ahead and tell you what's amazing about this book.

Firstly, this book kept me hooked from the first page. Every turn you find something unexpected and more fun! It was an honest to God gripping novel. Their chemistry is no joke. And I loved how the story wasn't centered on the physical to showcase the love they had. Its a slow burn of sorts. I couldn't flip the pages fast enough! Their characters are perfectly matched. They are meant for each other. I loved their banter! This book has got enough feels without letting it get too heavy. It's got enough humor, enough romance and enough friendship to make it amazing. If anything I'm not giving it a 5 star is because I felt it was short. I wanted more of the characters..more obstacles that they overcome. More breaks ups so I could look forward to more make ups. I happen to love break up scenes in books because of the intensity of emotions it portrays. It's mainly in that part of the whole book that I feel they truly love one another. This book however didn't really have a grand break up. Not that they needed it. You could feel their love just as clearly without it. I guess I just....I wanted more in the end. But we do get a nice epilogue and it all ends well.

About the book:

It started off as a battle of wits. Me: the ordinary girl with a big mouth against Him: the sexy bastard with a big...ego.

I thought I’d hit the jackpot when I was upgraded to first class on my flight to London.

That is until HE sat next to me. Gabriel Scott: handsome as sin, cold as ice. Nothing and no one gets to him. Ever. He’s a legend in his own right, the manager of the biggest rock band in the world, and an arrogant ass who looks down his nose at me.

I thought I’d give him hell for one, long flight. I didn’t expect to like him. I didn’t expect to want him. But the biggest surprise? He wants me too. Only in a way I didn’t see coming.

If I accept his proposal, I leave myself open to falling for the one man I can’t manage. But I’m tempted to say yes. Because the real man beneath those perfect suits and that cool façade just might be the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And I just might be the only one who can melt the ice around his heart.

Let the battle begin…
