The Girl's Got Secrets (Forbidden Men #7) - Linda Kage

Asher... *Dreamy sigh* I've waited for this book since the character was first introduced! I just knew I was going to love him...it's Asher?! How can anyone not! A soulful musician who believes in soul mates and is so frigging different from all the guys out there?! This book was so cute and interesting!

“If you love someone enough, you find you can forgive them for just about anything, because living without them is more miserable than any grudge you could hold.”

And I have to say I LOVED REMY. She's such a sweet heart. She cares so deeply for the ones she loves. Let me tell you...Asher came in to being the BEST book boyfriend EVER...he was THIS close but ..just something along the way I wanted to feel more in touch with his character. To FEEL more . It didn't really feel the love between them as compared to every other book in the series. I did feel his longing for finding THE ONE. But not the love of when he finally does find her. It just missed being a perfect book by a teeny tiny mark. This series is so FREAKING GOOD AND AMAZING AND PERFECT, you could just pick up ANY book and you'd love it guaranteed. It's just SO GOOD.

About the book:

Here’s the same old “girl posing as a boy” story but with a rock-n-roll twist. Remy Curran dreams of one day being in a band, except the group she wants to join refuses to hire a girl drummer. So, she auditions as a guy...and makes the cut. Becoming “Sticks,” a member of Non-Castrato, isn’t quite what she dreamed it would be, though. She spends most of her time keeping up the subterfuge and learning how to walk, talk, act, and drink like a man. But what’s even harder to deal with is acting oblivious when the band’s heartthrob lead singer, Asher Hart, treats her like one of the guys and not a woman. She never imagined he’d be so much more than a pretty face with a nice voice. But he’s better than perfect. He’s perfect for her. When love and lies combine, Remy must keep up the act or lose everything. But who knew lying to reach one dream could prevent you from attaining an even bigger dream?
