The Hunter ~ L.J Shen
I didn’t mean to star in a sex tape, okay?
It was just one of those unexplainable things. Like Stonehenge, Police Academy 2, and morning glory clouds.
It just happened.
Now my ball-busting father is sentencing me to six months of celibacy, sobriety, and morbid boredom under the roof of Boston’s nerdiest girl alive, Sailor Brennan.
The virginal archer is supposed to babysit my ass while I learn to take my place in Royal Pipelines, my family’s oil company.
Little does she know, that’s not the only pipe I’ll be laying…
I didn’t want this gig, okay?
But the deal was too sweet to walk away from.
I needed the public endorsement; Hunter needed a nanny.
Besides, what’s six months in the grand scheme of things?
It’s not like I’m in danger of falling in love with the appallingly gorgeous, charismatic gazillionaire who happens to be one of Boston’s most eligible bachelors.
No. I will remain immune to Hunter Fitzpatrick’s charm.
Even at the cost of losing everything I have.
Even at the cost of burning down his kingdom.
" I am string ,yes. But being strong doesn't mean never getting hurt .It means having a high pain tolerance."
Hunter is the son of a rich father , he is anything but unambitious. He cares about girls and has forgotten the count of girls he has had on his bed. After a scandal which is all over the internet, no mother will want to give away their daughter to him.
His father gives him a set of rules to follow which includes celibacy for 6 months and to live with Sailor who will be his nanny and his Dad’s reporter.
Sailor is a strong willed girl who has one aim which is to get into Olympics . Her father and brother are deadly people but it is all underground and she doesn’t like that business. NOBODY messes with her.
I hated the way Hunter spoke and what he thought about Sailor in the beginning. He did change later though. Love grows on people and changes them. Hunter realized his feelings for Sailor later than I expected . I wanted more scenes of them as a couple. They changed each other for the better.
I loved the ring Hunter got for them ( I was in tears), it was such a thoughtful gift.
