The Not - Outcast by Tijan
Cutler Ryder was everything I wasn't.
He was the hockey star. I was an outcast.
He was best friends with my stepbrother, that same stepbrother who hated me.
His two parents loved him. My mom was a junkie. My dad barely knew me.
I got my life together.
Cut went onto NHL stardom.
Then there was a text.
I was drinking.
There was a party.
Cut was there...
I loved Cutler Ryder since the first moment I saw him.
The only problem? He never knew I existed.
The pace of the book is slow in the beginning but it gets better later.
Cut is a famous ice-hockey player .His family is a sweet sweet one where they encourage each other and are filled with love. He loved Cheyenne, despite her past and despite how people treater her. I loved how he could not handle when Cheyenne was wronged, he stood by her always. Please can I be blessed with a boyfriend like him?
Cheyenne is such a strong character , she went through so much and yet she got through it all and she was HAPPY which is hard after all that she went through. I loved how she did not care how people behaved with her when she did not love them. She had a small family and that was her happy place. I was so glad that she had so many people rooting for her in the end. She deserved the happy happy ending.
They as a couple went through a lot but that’s how love grows. Right ? I loved how Cheyenne was so sorted and spoke her mind to Cut though it was after a while.
Cut was so cool with Cheyenne’s girls hanging out with them. He thought they were crazy but he would do anything for his girl.
Cheyenne and her girls damn they were lit , their entry reminded me of girls in movies. They always had each other's back . The crazy things they did for the other was amazing.
All of them were different yet they were together. I was worried about who Sasha would end up with but I was so glad for her.
I felt the book had a few things repeated unnecessarily but I loved the characters.
