I feel like they've stopped making such good dramas now. This is maybe my 5th time re-watching Oh My Venus and it simply never gets old! I love it!
The story follows the struggle of Kang My Yeon as she battles obesity and hypothyroidism. Fresh off a break up from her long time relationship and events that later transpire, Kang Mo Yeon seeks to improve her life.
I loved her character that is portrayed. She is a fun, smart and sass-mouthed female working in a law firm. I loved the banter between the leads throughout the series! Especially the first few episodes had me cracking up.

The male lead is played by a very talented mega star So Ji-Sub, who does an excellent job in this drama. The way he enacts his pain...damn, it gets me teary eyed.
He plays the role of Kim Young Ho, a man who belongs from a super rich family but runs away from it because of his painful childhood. As a kid he had osteosarcoma and had to undergo multiple surgeries. This led him to become a health nut who puts health before everything else. He works as a personal trainer for Hollywood stars but is forced to come back to Korea when a scandal arises.
Our leads meet on the flight and the rest is history. Lol, obviously not. They initially butt heads and don't get along very well. Like I said before, there is epic banter between them!

They fall into a mentor - mentee relationship as Kim Young Ho coaches her to lose weight and become healthy.
Oh wait, how could I forget them! The supporting cast beside our male lead are two super cute guys. One of them is a famous UFC fighter that our hero trains. Yes, our hero is also a trainer to UFC champions. Like I'm honestly shocked by his character specs - he's rich, hot, smart, an oriental doctor, a personal trainer to celebs, a UFC trainer (*SPOILER*and later also goes on to become an executive director in the company). Talk about dream guy material.
So back to our cute guys. I loved the dynamic they shared with the female lead. It's like they all became one family and helped each other out in life.

This is a super cute, light hearted drama that’s adequately fast-paced and filled with damsel in distress moments (come on, we all love those) that makes us wish for our own knight in shining lamborghini ;)
